This is lovely! I am reading a fanfic story on archiveofourown dot org called "Frailty" by flollius, and in that story the suthor's headcanon is that Fili is in fact quite clumsy with his braids and is not very good at all. Kili, on either hand, is quite light with his slender archer's fingers and is excellent at it... And as a result, the two brothers have is very personal ritual of Kili braiding his hair. Nothing slashy, nothing explicit or strange, it's just an intimate family ritual that the two of them share. It's really sweet. I am so happy that I found a drawing that depicts this scene so beautifully. Great job!
